New Delhi. The National Commission for Women (NCW) has commissioned a Research Study on Honour Killings in Haryana & Western Uttar Pradesh. However, no study has been commissioned by NCW on rape cases. The findings of the study would be known after the study has beencompleted.

This information was given by Smt. Krishna Tirath, Minister of State for Women and Child Development (Independent Charge) in a written reply to a question in the Lok Sabha today.
